BWMK Partner Frank Morrissey Contributes to Legal Treatise on Medical Negligence
The lawyers of noted Chicago plaintiffs’ law firm Burke Wise Morrissey Kaveny (BWMK) are frequently called upon to write for professional journals and other publications that focus on personal injury and medical practice law. Reflecting their high professional standing and professional experience, two of the firm’s lawyers recently have contributed to a legal treatise for professional peer audiences.
Francis P. (Frank) Morrissey is the author of Chapter 10 (“Fact Discovery”), published in Medical Malpractice 2011 Edition and 2013 Supplement, produced by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE®). Providing insight from both plaintiff and defense perspectives, this handbook is a valuable resource for attorneys on either side of a medical malpractice case. Mr. Morrissey volunteered his services on this comprehensive trial resource, in support of the IICLE’s commitment to the professional development of Illinois attorneys through Illinois. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has built a reputation representing seriously injured persons in medical malpractice lawsuits, product liability and personal injury actions.
