BWMK Congratulates the 2013 Mercy Home Student Graduates
Job Well Done! 2013 Mercy Home for Boys & Girls Student Graduates
Elizabeth A. Kaveny, name partner in noted Chicago plaintiffs’ law firm Burke Wise Morrissey Kaveny (BWMK), led the firm’s show of support for the 2013 student graduates of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls at the eleventh annual Graduates’ Luncheon on May 22, 2013. Mercy Home for Boys & Girls is a charity that for over 125 years has been dedicated to providing solutions for at-risk children in Chicago. Each year Mercy Home works to rebuild the lives of more than 650 children who have suffered from abuse, neglect, poverty and abandonment. 100 percent of Mercy Home eighth and twelfth graders graduate, and the annual Graduates Luncheon celebrates the successes of all Mercy Home elementary, high school, college and trade school graduates while raising the funds to support continued educational achievement.
The Graduates’ Luncheon is sponsored by the Leader Council of Mercy Home, a group of accomplished professional women in greater Chicago who donate their time, talent, financial support and professional resources to open doors to learning and achievement. Ms. Kaveny is a Leader Council member and was pleased to represent BWMK in helping to sponsor the 2013 Luncheon, held at the Hilton Chicago Hotel. The resounding success of the Luncheon event reflected BWMK’s continued commitment for giving back to the Chicago Community.
